MUSIC EDUCATION
At the beginning of 2016-17 school year, music education returned to Roseville schools for the first time since 2005! The Roseville City School District Foundation partnered with the District to help make this possible.
To date we've donated $180,000 for musical instruments and supplies!
These donations are possible because students and parents come out and participate in our two annual fundraising events, and our local businesses support these events through sponsorship.

Music education is about so much more than learning to sing or play an instrument. Research has shown that children who learn music do better in other subjects. The skills they gain in music help with language development, increased IQ, creativity, spatial-temporal skills, coordination and improved test scores. They also build teamwork and camaraderie with their fellow students and have fun!
Our Foundation raises funds to support music education through our annual golf tournament, held on the second Monday of May, and direct public support.
If you are passionate about music education in our schools, please support us by attending our event, sponsorship or a donation.
